Jubilee Auction

Life Anew

Donate to our Jubilee Auction Fundraising Efforts

Update: 9/10/25

The Jubilee Auction has been postponed

By now we hope that you have heard about the Martin Fire that started near Holden Lake on August 27. We have had to close the Village to guests for the time being. In spite of the uncertainty that comes with wildfire, it is a reality of life here and Holden Village is well prepared. The morale of our staff in the face of ever-shifting information and priorities could not be higher and the outpouring of support from the greater Holden community is truly inspiring—this is truly courageous community.

Along with those ever-shifting priorities comes the reality that we are unable to host many of our regularly scheduled events. This includes the Jubilee Auction, which we are postponing until a future date. If you have already pledged an item or experience, we cannot thank you enough and we still intend to feature your offering. We will communicate as we have more information, but please reach out if you have any questions whatsoever!

You need not wait for the auction to support us, you can give now. Your contributions help in a myriad of ways in supporting the mission of Holden Village to welcome all into the wilderness to form and renew their relationships with God, the earth, and each other.

We strive to practice our faith in a way that is open, inclusive, and expansive in our language of God, the earth, and all people. We embrace a wide range of music, prayer, sacred texts, and wisdom traditions. Our hope is to have a strongly defined center and incredibly wide margins.

Education

Holden Village is a community where your questions are valued and encouraged. Most programs led by visiting teaching faculty occur during the summer months. However, Holden also invites faculty to teach sessions for special events and retreats throughout the rest of the year.
