We’re excited to share that Chelan County Emergency Management has downgraded the fire advisory for Holden Village to “Level 1 – Get Ready.” Staff are making plans to return to the Village and we will be welcoming guests back starting Friday, September 26. Queer Renewal: Wilderness & Homecoming and other October programs will take place as scheduled.
Holden Village has been under “Level 2 – Get Set” since August 28. After significant containment work by fire crews, and favorable weather conditions, the Emergency Management team feels comfortable downgrading the Fire Advisory to Level 1. All fire personnel will leave the Village by Friday, September 12. Chelan County Emergency Management continues to monitor the fire remotely.
Trails around the Village have been reopened with the exception of Holden Lake Trail #1252 as well as the Martin Ridge area.

This is a critical time for the Village. We do not know what the future holds, but your gift today helps us prepare for whatever comes next. Any amount you give will support our efforts to keep Holden’s staff safe during the Martin Fire and prepare us to reopen the Village on September 26
Holden Village is a community where your questions are valued and encouraged. Most programs led by visiting teaching faculty occur during the summer months. However, Holden also invites faculty to teach sessions for special events and retreats throughout the rest of the year.
