Prayer Around The Cross — Weekly!

Beginning in the late summer of 2026, Holden Village sprouts up each Wednesday night in Tacoma in the form of Holden-style Prayer Around The Cross. Hosted by St. Mark’s Lutheran and ministry volunteers, this practice is an exploration of contemplation and belonging, where folks can come together to pray, reflect, sing, and be in stillness.
Steve Wolbrecht and Cooper Sherry have experienced and led Prayer Around the Cross in the village countless times as faculty musicians or long-term staff over the last 20 years, and now they continue to walk with Holden Village through these challenging times.
