Jacuzzi Technician

POSTION SUMMARY

This position is open May- September. This person will work to maintain the Sauna and the Hot Tub. They will supplement their Jacuzzi Tech responsibilities by working as a Maverick or Operations Floater. Individuals interested in this position must posses the required technical knowledge and skills.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS

(principal duties and responsibilities; such as categories supported, staff size, volume managed, etc)

  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment around the hot tub and sauna
  • Test, monitor and maintain the hot tub chemistry according to best practice
  • Maintain the hot tub filtration system
  • Maintain documentation regarding hot tub operation
  • Clean and maintain the hot tub and surrounding area
  • Clean and maintain the sauna and dunk tank
  • Report repairs needed to the repair associate
  • Work with Operations Manager and Procurement to maintain an inventory of supplies for the hot tub and sauna

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

(position specifications; such as knowledge/education, skills, problem solving/decision making, risk/bottom line results, management responsibility – people and functions)

  • Certified & Spa Pool Operator (CPO) certification
  • Hot tub/spa maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE used while working with pool chemicals
  • Experience with plumbing, especially PVC and Pex
  • Ability to work outside in the summer
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Safety mindset
