Terry Valdez

Terry is owner of Terry Valdez Studios and is an award winning artist and art instructor with over forty years of experience teaching art to youth through adults students. He has a Masters degree in the Creative Arts from Lesley College in Cambridge, Mass. With support from the Wenatchee Art Education Consortium, he was instrumental in developing the K-Art curriculum that is used in public schools throughout the upper and lower valleys of North Central Washington. Terry’s art studies include attending the Gandy Brodie School of Fine Art in Vermont and the Instituto Allende in Mexico. As a guest lecturer, Terry has exhibited his art work in Russia, Mexico, and Japan. His Public Art can be found at the Link Columbia Bus Terminal, Wenatchee, WA.

      Education

      Holden Village is a community where your questions are valued and encouraged. Most programs led by visiting teaching faculty occur during the summer months. However, Holden also invites faculty to teach sessions for special events and retreats throughout the rest of the year.
