Rachael Pashkowski

Rachael Pashkowski es residente del valle de Wenatchee desde hace mucho tiempo. Rachael Pashkowski is a long-time resident of the Wenatchee Valley. She has been a paralegal a at Columbia Legal Services and a union organizer for Washington Legal Workers since 1998, and a volunteer community organizer with Wenatchee for Immigrant Justice since 2021. As part of her work with Wenatchee for Immigrant Justice, Rachael has participated in local coalition building efforts in support and defense of immigrant communities, as well as developed local models for rapid response and accompaniment, and community self-advocacy clinics to help families plan for the care of children and finances in emergencies. Rachael will talk about immigrant rights and safety with immigration, help community organizations and leaders who work with immigrants begin a self-assessment practice against accusations of violating harboring or smuggling laws, and models for helping community members navigate legal processes when you are not an attorney.
