Women’s Retreat at Immanuel Lutheran Church

February 7 @ 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seattle has offered to host a one day off-site mini Women’s Retreat. Mary Lindberg (one of our scheduled presenters for the Holden retreat) has graciously agreed to offer her sessions on February 7, 2026 from 9:30-2:30. The theme for the day will be “Words and the Word: Writing as a Spiritual Practice,” based on the Amherst Writers and Artists method Mary uses with other groups. There will be time for writing alone, writing with others, and learning to listen.

This event will be completely free to you, though donations to Holden Village will be gratefully accepted. We are asking attendees to bring a sack lunch. In Holden coffee break tradition, coffee, tea, and light snacks will be available upon your arrival.

Holden Village uses an inclusive definition of women and welcomes trans women and non-binary folks. Attendees only need to identify as a woman in a way that is significant to them.
