Holden Village Virtual Town Hall

May 3 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

The Holden Community continues to respond to the events of last December when flooding destroyed our access to the Village with great generosity and understanding to our new situation. This new situation also offers opportunities in the form of new gathering formats and locations. The Holden Board therefore invites all of you to attend one of two online village meetings that will look forward to Holden’s immediate and long-term future.

The agenda will be as follows:

  1. Update from the Executive Directors
  2. Responses to questions submitted in advance and offered in the zoom “chat” during the meetings. (We will respond to as many of your questions as we can)

Zoom links to the two meetings are below:

Please submit your questions by going to the following link:

Question Submissions

The Board during its last meeting focused upon what everyone predicts will be an especially dangerous fire season this summer. We affirmed our commitment to the safety of all villagers, and to responsible stewardship of Holden Village in times of severe wildfire risk, and access and egress limitations caused by the closure of FS 8301.

In the event of a Level 3 evacuation (which the USFS and Chelan County EMS determine and communicate in coordination with each other), Holden will act in accordance with all directives and laws, including fully but temporarily vacating the premises.

We will elaborate on this matter and other issues during the forthcoming gatherings online. We hope to see many of you present. We will record the meetings for later and convenient viewing.
