Women’s Retreat #1

Spend a winter weekend at Holden Village for our annual Women’s Retreat! Through teaching sessions, conversations, reflections, crafts, and outdoor adventures like snowshoeing and skiing, Women’s Retreat will provide opportunities to build new relationships, reconnect with the self, and join other women in conversation and recreation. Both weekends will be very similar in design.
Holden Village uses an inclusive definition of women and welcomes trans women and non-binary folks. Attendees only need to identify as a woman in a way that is significant to them.
Check out the flyer for the event!
Women’s Retreat Faculty:

Spirituality: Rev. Mary Lindberg Mary Lindberg began writing when she was very young and still writes in semi-retirement, including The Graceful Exit, the book she wishes someone had handed her about finding a new church home, about getting a life, about relating to the colleagues who stayed. She has worked as a chaplain, teacher, editor, and writing group leader. Mary and her husband live in Seattle, have two grown daughters, and ride a tandem bicycle.

Fiber Artist: Becky Anne Smith Becky Anne Smith (she/her/they) learned crochet from her mom at eight years old and continues to explore fiber arts through knitting with her faith community and weaving from her soul. She owns her own yarn-dyeing business (@panfranknitco) and is an enthusiastic teacher of the fiber arts. At home, she lives with her loving spouse and three beautiful pups, Peach, Blueberry, and Cherry. She loves roller skating, cross country skiing, and Holden Village!
