Knitting Weekend

Holden Village is open year-round! New in 2026, Holden Village hosts a series of “Winter Weekends,” allowing guests the opportunity to learn and connect with others during the winter. Each weekend will feature a faculty person who will lead 2-3 teaching sessions on Saturday and Sunday. To attend these sessions, guests need to arrive on Friday and depart on Monday.

Rhonda Bostrom

Rhonda Bostrom has served as Senior Pastor at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Mercer Island, WA since March 2022. Previously, she served congregations in southeastern Nebraska. Rhonda started knitting on pastoral internship 25 years ago and taught herself from a book. She says she would have benefitted from a knitting circle.
Rhonda has been married to her college sweetheart, Eric for 28 years. They have two grown children, Annika and Soren, who both attend Pacific Lutheran University. Since becoming an empty-nester, Rhonda has become obsessed with yarn, fiber, knitting and sheep. She looks forward to knitting with the Holden Community, especially those who are new to the craft.
