J-Term

Every January, Holden Village welcomes students from colleges and seminaries for January Term or “J-Term” classes to build and practice community while learning together about topics ranging from religion to environmental studies.

Villagers will embrace new experiences from learning to cross country ski, meditating in a snowy candlelit labyrinth, participating in the Village “Winter Olympics,” keeping the wood furnaces stoked, and participating in the daily rhythms of caring for one another and this place.

Registration for guests is limited during J-Term. However, additional volunteers are very much needed! Learn more and apply to volunteer during J-Term
