May 24, 2020. A PIKA was seen in the village yesterday! EEEEEP (that's the sound they make). And another across the creek last week! Not sure what they are doing at this LOW elevation (3,200 feet). Also recently seen in the village: a SNOWSHOE HARE (mostly brown now), and a couple of big fluffy BEARS! And of course, the SQUIRRELS, hard at work bringing you the latest weather news, and making sure the hot chocolate supply does not run low. Today's report: Partly SUNNY, with scattered DEER and a chance of PIKAS!
Yesterday's high: 62 degrees
Last night's low: 38 degrees
