The Arts have played an integral role in Holden's mission throughout the Village's history. From music, to writing, to visual art, Holden has a rich tradition of fostering artistry in both professional and everyday artists. Find more information about our Arts programs here.
Studios
Staffed year-round, Holden's Art studios offer opportunities for weaving, pottery, and more. Open studio time is available, and classes for beginners are held often, especially during the summer months. With specialties in a variety of mediums, visiting Artists and permanent staff also host unique classes according to their expertise. Past courses have included copper clay jewelry, star-making, meditative painting, batik, basics of drawing, and nature photography.
