3-8 Month Volunteer Opportunities

Staff members form the heart of Holden’s village community and are responsible for sharing the gift of hospitality with all who come into the wilderness. Holden has a long history of hosting lively conversation on a myriad of topics and providing the backdrop for new and lasting friendships. All volunteers receive room and board as well as access to Holden’s internationally acclaimed education programming. Enjoy days off in one of the most stunning wilderness areas in the word.

3-8 Month Short-Term positions provide a foundation of continuity during the busy season and reflect the work areas for which the mine remediation project has a direct impact. Some positions are leadership positions where being the primary person responsible of a work area as well as supervising volunteers are key responsibilities. Other positions support the Long-Term staff member leading a particular area. All are vital to the hospitality offered to guests and mine remediation workers.
